Senior Living Apartment and Patio Homes
We offer 129 spacious senior living apartments and 34 patio homes featuring a meal plan, twice monthly cleaning, deep cleaning, all maintenance, an emergency call system and paid utilities (cost of phone service not included).
Assisted Living
We offer private assisted living apartments featuring licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants on duty 24 hours a day, help with personal care, medication assistance, weekly housekeeping, linen service and three daily meals in a smoke-free environment.
Assisted Living Memory Care
Hummingbird Lane provides 14 assisted living apartments designed for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia-related conditions. This brand-new addition offers all the amenities of our assisted living in an innovative household-style living space, where residents and staff interact in a warm, comfortable, relationship-based setting.
Skilled Nursing
We feature 32 private and semi-private skilled nursing rooms with 24-hour professional nursing care. The skilled nursing care center at Meridian Village is expanding to meet the diverse and growing needs of our residents. This program will be based on a state-of-the-art 'household' concept. Here, small groups of 12 to 14 residents will find homes in each of the care center's three households, which will feature home-style kitchens and screened-in porches.

A Message from the Administrator
Greetings to you from our family here at Meridian Village. We pride ourselves on our small town feel and friendly people. Many of our residents who make Meridian Village home have come from miles away, as far as California, Arizona and Florida. About half come from right here in Edwardsville and Glen Carbon, Illinois. It is very easy to get to know your neighbors, whether through our leisure events, at dinner, over coffee and donuts or by watching a movie together. We have a highly rated dining services program that serves delicious, creative meals to suit your palate. You are able to choose how busy you become here. You can swim in our heated pool or relax in our hot tub. You can join our Senior FITness program or attend regular exercise classes. You can go to our library at your convenience or you can go to the symphony. You can listen to a great country western band and dance all night long or you can join a Wii contest. The possibilities are endless. We invite you to come visit us at Meridian Village. We are here to serve you, and we would be happy to help you make Meridian Village your home. Our residents are our only priority here.

Pastoral Care at Meridian Village
Greetings in the name of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am privileged to serve as the chaplain at Meridian Village, where I offer pastoral care to all of our residents and staff. Pastoral Care takes a variety of forms here, including weekly worship services, Bible studies and devotions. And because of the closeness of our community, I often minister through private conversation and prayer.
I am a Lutheran pastor, but most of our residents and staff are not. My role is to attend to the spiritual needs of people where they are, respectful of their beliefs, church affiliations and existing pastoral relationships.
Please feel free to visit or contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss the pastoral care provided at Meridian Village.
