LOUIS, Missouri, December 8, 2023 – Lutheran Senior Services (LSS), a leading non-profit provider of care, services, and senior living for older adults in Missouri and Illinois, and St. Louis Home Health (STL-HH), a reputable home health agency with a specialty in orthopedics, today announced they have signed a definitive agreement under which LSS will acquire STL-HH.
“This is an exciting development for older adult patients and families because it expands LSS’ best-in-class home health services, adds specialty orthopedic expertise, and expands access to high quality care to more patients with an extended footprint in Illinois,” said Adam Marles, president and chief executive officer of LSS. “We’re proud to welcome St. Louis Home Health to the LSS family and will continue to serve their current orthopedic patients regardless of their age.”
LSS provides compassionate home and community services including Home Health, Private Duty Home Care, Hospice, and Palliative services as well as Aging Answers support navigation and care management. It also offers premier Life Plan Communities providing services and amenities in a continuum of levels from Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care Assisted Living, Long Term Care and REACH Short Stay Rehabilitation, in addition to Affordable Housing communities with low-income apartment options.
