Benefits Assistance and Spiritual Wellness Program

The Benefits Assistance and Spiritual Wellness Program helps older adults identify, apply for, and access new benefits such as Medicare programs, medication assistance, and Veterans’ programs in the Missouri counties of St. Louis city, St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson, and Warren and in the Illinois county of Monroe.

This FREE service, made possible through the Lutheran Foundation and Lutheran Senior Services, also includes a spiritual wellness assessment. If needed, a LSS Chaplain can provide spiritual counseling over the phone that includes:

    • Praying with a participant
    • Reading Bible passages
    • Coping with grief/loss of a loved one
    • Connecting with a church or spiritual community
