Lutheran Senior Services Joins AgeTech Collaborative from AARP

December 19, 2023 – St. Louis, Missouri – Lutheran Senior Services (LSS) has joined the AgeTech CollaborativeTM from AARP®, an innovation ecosystem bringing together cutting-edge thinkers in the longevity tech space to champion meaningful advances so that everyone can choose how they live as they age.

“Evolving our products and services to meet the changing preferences of older adults is a key element of our organizational strategy,” said Adam Marles, LSS President & CEO. “Being part of the AgeTech Collaborative provides unparalleled opportunities to share and learn from others in this space.”

AgeTech is a growing category of technology solutions designed to meet the needs of the world’s aging population. These include products, services, and experiences across industries that aim to make the process of aging easier, from HealthTech and mobility aids to artificial intelligence and robotics.

LSS has already embraced new technology as the first senior living provider in the region to introduce an immersive tool for dementia, Tovertafel, earlier this year, for which they received the Visionary Award from LeadingAge Missouri. LSS also has invested in providing virtual reality goggles to create memorable moments for LSS Hospice patients.

“I look forward to partnership and exploration as part of AgeTech Collaborative. Together we can empower more older adults to live life to the fullest,” said Marles.
