Lutheran Senior Services (LSS) and Lindenwood University are making education more accessible through a new partnership that will grant LSS employees a 20% discount off tuition to select undergraduate and graduate programs.
“Educational opportunities like this support LSS’ focus on creating a culture that brings out the best in each other,” said Beth Rusert, Chief Experience Officer for Lutheran Senior Services.
Making education accessible to team members supports the recruitment and retention of talented individuals, and ultimately enables LSS to provide even greater care, while furthering the mission of helping Older Adults Live Life to the Fullest.
“Our goal is for team members to continue to grow and develop new skills,” said Rusert. “A partnership with Lindenwood University provides opportunities to receive a world-class education with real-life application. What they learn one day will have an immediate impact on our mission the next day. That’s an investment we want to support.”
Courses at Lindenwood University can be taken online, on-ground, or through hybrid offerings. It is free to apply and all LSS team members are eligible for this discount regardless of where they live due to the online option. Contact Lindenwood’s Director of Strategic Partnerships, Donnie Wieland at DWieland@lindenwood.edu or 636.209.0555 to learn more about the partnership and benefits available to LSS employees.
Making educational achievement attainable supports LSS’ focus on creating a culture that brings out the best in each other. In addition to the discounted tuition provided through partnerships with universities, team members have access other LSS Educational Assistance Benefit programs.
