New CEO Starts at Lutheran Senior Services

Adam Marles begins leadership role at Lutheran Senior Services

November 2, 2021, St. Louis, Missouri – Adam Marles, President and CEO of Lutheran Senior Services (LSS), started his position at the not-for-profit senior living provider this week. LSS was recently ranked as the 14th largest not-for-profit senior living organization in the nation.

“One of the things that initially drew me to LSS is the strong foundation this organization has,” said Marles. “There is so much good work to build upon with the LSS team.”

Over the next few months, Marles will be visiting all LSS locations to meet with staff members and residents. LSS owns and operates Life Plan Communities and income-based Affordable Housing communities in the Greater St. Louis area, Central Illinois, and Mid Missouri. Marles will lead more than 3,000 LSS employees who are committed to continuing the LSS legacy of excellence spanning more than 160 years.

“I’m starting by listening and learning,” said Marles. “There are knowledgeable experts throughout LSS with exceptional experience in providing services and living options for older adults. I’m looking forward to digging in and working closely with them.”

Marles came to LSS from LeadingAge PA, a trade association representing nearly 400 providers of quality senior housing, health care, and community services throughout Pennsylvania.

Lutheran Senior Services (LSS) is a mission-driven, not-for-profit network that specializes in housing, care, and supportive services for older adults 62+. With 19 locations in Missouri and Illinois, LSS serves more than 13,000 seniors a year through options that include Senior Living Communities offering all levels of living, Affordable Housing for those with limited incomes, and Home & Community Based Services. LSS builds upon more than 160 years of excellence in living out its Christian mission of Older Adults Living Life to the Fullest.
